General Plago, the Lyrical Gangster, is from the town of Greytown in South Africa near Johannesburg. At an early age he was drawn to the city and the vibrancy of music, learning to play the guitar and soon diving deep into the Reggae scene.

BIOGRAPHY
General Plago Was born near Greytown in a small village called Bombatha (1906 Battle of Bombatha) then moved to a rural area outside during his childhood. He was drawn to the City Center of Johannesburg as a teen where he discovered music and learned to play the guitar. When Reggae and Ska music hit the scene it had a huge impact on Plago. He adopted the Rastafari life focused on peace and harmony and non-violence. The name General Plago symbolizes his leadership in building and developing a band of comrades who all follow the ideology of Bob Marley. Recently, Plago moved into Maboneng, a newly redeveloped and vital artistic heart of Johannesburg.
