Jaygun began his career aged ten as a Street Dancer, break dancing outside his front door to the sounds of The Soul Sonic Funk Force, Lisa Lisa, Herby Hancock, Gregory Issacs, Sly Dunbar and a long line of other artists. Jaygun joined a Dance Crew and performed regularly in Dance Offs, which exposed him to a whole new range of rhythms and music-genres.

GET TO KNOW THE ARTIST
By twelve, Jaygun had found his rap and rhyme “voice,” and began to free-style across London. In 2000, JayGgn and his brother joined Mark Seyfritz in the band Dog contributing to the album “Jerusalem,” on EMI. Jaygun performed at Glastonbury, at Leeds Carling Festival, Tea in the Park Scotland and around the world. Dog’s songs were featured on “Dead Man Running” and “Tekken 2011” and in the Video Game “Fifa 2000.”
Jaygun teamed up with tough, rap-artist Bashy to sign with BMG Publishing and Defective Records to release club-hit “Shake Dat Booty.” Jaygun’s other collaborations include rising star, Noah Francis (MPLA) and the Hit Record Label CoCo Machette, which has used beats from Jaygun’s work in songs by artists such as Missy Elliot. In 2011Carl Falck spotted Jaygun’s talent at the Island experiment and offered to produce and manage him. The result was an outpouring of 5 albums of material in 3 years.
