Change is Starting for Ricky John

Change is Starting... 

A few years ago, while working with the renowned collage artist, Pablo Malik, he leans into me and says, "I have a friend who can sing."  That friend, is Ricky John.   

Within a week we were at Wardour 100 in Soho listening to who we now call "Ricky John AKA Sam Cooke."  From Wardour to the Troubadour, Ricky's voice was a constant surprise and reminder of how deep music can reach inside each one of us. 

Ricky has not had the easiest path through life and today marks a huge milestone in his career.  A family man, a dedicated artist who works tireless at his craft.  Ricky has lived on the streets in London, has seen the worst of times and consistently pushes and keeps on moving.   

A highlight this past year, XFactor, where Ricky wowed the audience, commanding standing ovations and made it to Judge's Houses with Robbie Williams and Ayda Field Williams.  The XFactor process is intense and demanding and puts your talent and skill on the front of TV's across the UK and beyond.   

Through his passion, persistence and support from his loving partner and children, Ricky's Change is Gonna Come.  Today marks his first global release and will  be followed by more, stay tuned.
